Writing this is kind of like one of those personality quizzes you take when you're trying to decide what you want to be when you grow up.
Let's see. I'm a wife and mom of four great kids. They keep me busy, laughing and learning.
Writing is both my profession and my passion. When I was younger I used to write stories about anything and everything. My mom thought they were wonderful. My dad thought they were odd. In hindsight, I think they were both a little bit right.
Oh, and I also happen to have multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system and makes life challenging to say the least. I was diagnosed in 2002, shortly after the birth of my son. It's been a long, frustrating and interesting journey.
This blog is all about those two worlds and my everyday struggles to make them play nicely together. Unfortunately, just like with my kids, that doesn't always happen.
I'm a mom of four, a wife and a writer. Oh, I also happen to have MS. This blog is all about what happens when those two worlds collide.
